Revenue Cloud Utilities (“the extension”) is a Chrome extension used to support Salesforce Revenue Cloud administration workflows, including migration operations, context definition management, and decision table operations.

1) Who we are

2) What this extension does

The extension provides a side-panel interface in Chrome to help authorized users:

• authenticate to Salesforce orgs
• run migration workflows (ZIP and org-based)
• manage context definitions
• refresh decision tables
• download generated output files (such as ZIP artifacts)

3) Data we process

The extension may process the following categories of data:

• Salesforce connection data
  • Salesforce instance URL
  • OAuth/session access token values used to call Salesforce APIs
  • selected login host/domain
• User configuration and workflow data
  • selected API version
  • org labels and recent auth timestamps
  • migration history metadata
  • export configuration JSON (export.json)
• User-provided files and generated files
  • uploaded ZIP/JSON/CSV content provided by the user
  • generated ZIP files downloaded by the user
• Technical data needed for extension behavior
  • active tab host name (used to detect Salesforce login host/session context)
  • Salesforce cookie/session lookup on supported Salesforce domains

4) How data is used

Data is used only to provide the extension’s core functionality:

• authenticate and maintain Salesforce sessions
• execute Salesforce API operations requested by the user
• render workflow state and history
• generate and download user-requested output files

5) Where data is stored

• Chrome extension storage (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session)
• Browser download location for files explicitly downloaded by the user

The extension does not maintain a separate backend database for user data.

6) Data sharing

• The extension sends requests to Salesforce endpoints required for OAuth and Salesforce API operations.
• The extension does not sell personal data.
• The extension does not share data with advertising networks.

7) Remote code

The extension package includes its own JavaScript, HTML, and CSS files.
It does not load or execute remote JavaScript or remote WebAssembly code.

8) Permissions and why they are used

• storage: save user settings, org metadata, and workflow state
• downloads: save user-requested output files
• tabs: detect active Salesforce host and open auth tab
• cookies: read Salesforce session cookie (sid) on supported Salesforce domains
• sidePanel: render the extension UI in Chrome Side Panel
• host permissions (*.salesforce.com, *.my.salesforce.com, *.lightning.force.com, login.salesforce.com, test.salesforce.com): required for Salesforce OAuth and API calls

9) Data retention and deletion

• Stored extension data remains until the user clears extension storage or uninstalls the extension.
• Downloaded files remain in the user’s download location until deleted by the user.
• Users can revoke Salesforce sessions/tokens from Salesforce org settings.

10) Children’s privacy

This extension is intended for enterprise/administrative use and is not directed to children.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision.
